This is the best interview Ive ever seen him do.
I really didnt think he would work well with Alan Carr but he did!
Its quite funny, if you have 10 minutes, grab yourself a brew, it’s worth a watch!
A friend pointed out to me today that there was no way to leave a comment on any of my posts. And unless you have me on Twitter or Facebook there is no way to contact me. Well, if anyone does, on the right hand side of the blog, underneath where the picture is, there is an “ask me anything” button. Press that and you can send me a message or question, which I can reply to and post to the blog direct.
Be nice to hear from anyone reading the blog, and questions are annonymous unless you choose for them not to be :)
This is a great quote for anything in life. But it really hit that it works so well when it comes to dieting.
I’ve been on and off dieting for, literally, years. And this is so true, how many times I fobbed myself off with “I’ll start again next Monday”. “I’ll be good again tomorrow”.
Unless youre 110% ready to change the entire way you look at things, a diet will never be a success for you.
I’m sure everyone has that one moment, one picture or one tearful changing room experience that decided “Thats it!!”.
I had quite a few, the first one was whilst shopping for a bikini for holiday, it was awful, I was actually crying in the changing rooms at Debenhams because of how I looked. It was 2 weeks till my holiday and I knew there was nothing I could do to be so effective in that time, so I stood up, looked in the mirror and embraced what I had in order for me to be able to happily go on holiday. I hadn’t lost sight that something needed to be done, but I just pushed it to one side so that it wouldn’t ruin my holiday.
The second moment came whilst on holiday, this was the one that sealed the fate of the fat, me and my friends were going on a slide at the water park, and you have a rubber ring that could fit 4 people in, we all got in, the ring got wedged at the top of the slide. The life guards face was utter disgust as he kicked the ring to make it go. But the worse was the group of lads behind us that saw it fit to cheer and clap when we eventually set off. Im hard as nails but that hit hard.
The moment I got back from holiday I found out my local Slimming World group and joined up.
Next year me and my friends are going back to the same place on holiday, I bet those group of lads will be wolf whistling at us then….
Off to join Slimming World!
Feel a little bit nervous for some reason. But hey, this is the worst the scales are ever going to be, right?
